
Pastures
A two-dimensional surface, the support (board made of wood chips) receives green pigment (acrylic) for a certain period of time, leaving an image that is made up of an indefinite number of layers, where the first is just as important as the last.
The result is a transportable object that can be located in different places.
The autonomy of the color and the autonomy of the support, together, allow the existence of these works.
Rhythm, gesture, harmony, beauty, rupture and continuity, fragment and whole are articulated in a whole, materialized in a new way of existing, of meaning.
An action presents, manifests, reveals and generates a coincidence, similarity, repetition, evokes the past.
The landscape in which grass predominates refers me to places where nature is domesticated, gardens, parks, fields for practicing sports, farms dedicated to agriculture.
I associate the presence of the grass with good times.
